The Department of Science and Technology Region 02 (DOST R02), through the Food Innovation Center (FIC), conducted the Technology Innovation Key-Transfer on Knowledge (TIK-TOK) on August 27, 2021.

The event was held in order to promote products developed by the FIC. Several Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Women Micro-Entrepreneurs (WMEs) were invited as part of the event. They were oriented with the different food products that they can adapt.
“This would be a big help for us because this will add new products in our menu. Aside from that, DOST would offer us help in providing the needed technologies for its production.” Luvis Mallillin, a WME and one of DOST Nutribun adaptors, stated.
The FIC 02 is located in the Cagayan State University, Carig Campus. The project is led by Prof. Denis Policar and Dir. Nora T. Garcia.
To further promote the FIC, key officials from DOST and Cagayan State University were present in the event. Among those were DOST Undersecretary Sancho A. Mabborang, CSU-President, Urdujah G. Alvarado, and CSU-Carig CEO Engr. Arthur G. Ibañez.
