The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region 02 in collaboration with People Summit of the Philippines conducted Training on Industry 4.0 cum Emerging Technologies, Data Analytics and Digital Marketing in Las Palmas De San Jose, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
This training will enable the participants to understand and embrace the concepts of Industry 4.0 in business practice and to help manufacturers and MSMEs with current challenges. The training will also help to become more flexible and reacting to changes in the market easier
The training covers key concepts of future smart factories, cyber-physical systems and physical processes which would support managers in leading S&T initiatives.
Meanwhile, Mr. Rico Soberano, as the resource speaker described how Industry 4.0 could help the MSME in partaking business transformation by digitalization. He also prepared some interactive activities for the participants to set examples of how humans are connected with these technology chains.
“You must make the most out of things the government could offer you, dahil pare-parehas lang ang objective natin, ‘yon ay ang growth ng bawat MSMEs,” Director Bilgera stressed during her closing remarks.
MSMEs will be integrating new technologies, including Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing and analytics, AI and machine learning into their production facilities and throughout their operations.
The program run for 3 days featuring the concept and application of Industry 4.0 as key productivity factor to streamline an increasing dominance and reliance on technology.
